Common Sense Of Barcoded Cards

Barcode card records information with a set of rules, and air and its corresponding bar code characters , the symbol of common bar code is printed by black bars and white. When the light shines on the bar code symbol, the black bars and white space produce a strong contrast to the use section, and then read information according the different light reflectance space.

Barcoded Cards divide two kinds:One-dimensional bar code and two-dimensional code. One-dimensional codes are more commonly used. For example, a daily commodities packaging is one-dimensional bar code on the code. It can only store a small amount of information by this code and obtain the data through computer networks. Two-dimensional code is developed in recent years, and it can store more information in a limited space, including text, image, fingerprint, signature, etc. What is more,Two-dimensional code can be used from the computer.

Making Barcode card is simple.Ordinary bar code can be printed or copied in accordance with certain requirements with a low cost, but it's reader device (especially two-dimensional code reader device) is more expensive. Different form magnetic card and IC card, bar code card information can not be rewritten. Poor safety performance, Ununified standard limits its application.

Useful RFDI tags

The need for traceability is among the many huge shadows cast by Toyota’s recent recalls. STMicroelectronics is providing a novel approach to circuit board tracking with a Dual Interface EEPROM that adds an RFID link.

As more companies move from bar codes to RFID tag, this sort of approach provides an added incentive to make the transition. RFID tagging makes this link more useful throughout a product’s lifetime. Programs can be updated in the field, diagnostic data can be accessed even when the board is powered down. In the event of recalls, technicians can quickly determine whether a board has faulty code. Wireless communications often make it simpler to perform this task.

Board designers may be able to exploit this technology in a number of ways. It’s an intriguing approach to integration, blending programmable memory and RFID tag to do more in less space, providing benefits over the lifetime of a product.

Mysterious Golden Prayer Wheel

Prayer wheels have been used by Buddhists for praying, meditation, healing, purifying karma and protection from negativities. And Golden prayer wheel is more beautiful and mysterious.

Some of the most advanced Buddhist Masters such as Padmasambhava, Marpa and Mahasiddhas such as Tilopa, Naropa and Nagarjuna used and distributed prayer wheels to benefit sentient beings and to protect the environment especially of sincere Dharma practitioners.

What is a MIFARE card for?

The MI card is a memory storage device, where the memory is divided into segments and blocks with simple security mechanisms for access control. They are ASIC based and have limited computational power.

The MIFARE Classic 1K offers 1024 bytes of data storage; MIFARE Classic 4K offers 4096 bytes split into forty sectors they can be programmed for operations like reading, writing, increasing value blocks, etc.

Thanks to their reliability and low cost, those MI cards are widely used for electronic wallet, access control, corporate ID cards, transportation or stadium ticketing.

Development of Contactless IC cards

Contactless IC cards with contactless interfaces are becoming increasingly popular for payment and ticketing applications such as mass transit. Visa and MasterCard have agreed to an easy-to-implement version currently being deployed (2004-2006) in the USA.

Globally, contactless fare collection is being employed for efficiencies in public transit. The various standards emerging are local in focus and are not compatible, though the MIFARE Standard card from Philips has a large market share in the US and Europe.

Smart cards are being introduced in personal identification and entitlement schemes at regional, national, and international levels. Citizen cards, drivers’ licenses, and patient card schemes are becoming more prevalent.

In Malaysia, the compulsory national ID scheme MyKad includes 8 different applications and is rolled out for 18 million users. Contactless IC cards are being integrated into ICAO biometric passports to enhance security for international travel.
